Rev. Travis Smith

Rev. Travis Smith comes to us with over 20 years of Pastoral experience. Travis was born and raised in Chesnee, SC, in the upstate region. After graduating from Gardner-Webb University with a BA in Religious Studies, Travis completed his Master of Divinity with a concentration in Pastoral Counseling from the Gardner-Webb School of Divinity. After his Master's degree, Travis completed a residency in Clinical Pastoral Education at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Travis is currently enrolled at United Theological Seminary completing is Doctoral of Ministry degree.

Travis strongly values serving the community and has served in leadership roles in the nonprofit world. Currently, he serves as Executive Director of Blue Ridge Hope, which he founded and provides mental health services to the community regardless of their ability to pay. Travis and his wife Allyson have a total of 4 children and one fur child named Marli. Travis is always game for great live music and a good documentary.
